Our journey into the world of 3D-design and 3D-printing started in 2018. I've always had a strong interest in everything that had something to do with the combination of ICT and a more technical side and 3D-printing combines these 2 perfectly.

The first steps were diving into the technique itself: ways of printing things, technical specifications, maintaining and troubleshooting equipment to end up with a satisfying final product. Once we got to grip with this, we were able to think about how to design our own parts and start producing them.

Soon it was clear that 3D-printing had near endless possibilities to turn simple ideas into a more complex 3D-design and come out with a reallife object. Fixing all types of stuff, customized toys but also well thought through designs which have their place in daily life belong to the possibilities that 3D-printing has to offer. The best part is that it became accessible and affordable to do outside of an industrial setting.

We choose to work with hardware from Prusa Printers due to the open-source nature of both their machines and sofware. They are backed by a large community with loads of support available in case needed. Autodesk Fusion 360 is our go-to software for our designing needs and this combination of design and manufacturing provides us with a strong basis to support our daily production and requests.
